Rock of Gibraltar (horse)

Rock of Gibraltar was foaled (born) on March 8, 1999 in Ireland and currently resides in Ireland and sometimes in Australia during breeding season.

He is a champion race horse; he won 1st place in 10 horse races held in Ireland, Great Britain and 2 of the races in France.  Rock of Gibraltar has been honored as European Horse of the Year!

He is a stallion; a male horse that has not been neutered (gelded).
That means he can be used as a breed horse; he can sire baby horse
which are called foals.  And he's a retired race horse who is used to breed other thoroughbred horses.

This magnificent horse was named after Ireland's "Rock of Gibraltar" which is a famously known piece of land, made of limestone, that you might say resembles a rock.  The land is in a place called Gibraltar and is almost completely surrounded by water.

You can read more about this beautiful thoroughbred horse here which is also where I got Rock of Gibraltar's  horse photo.

All donations will help me allot and are very much appreciated; thanks!
